Establish a long-lasting legacy with your gift.
As the only organization dedicated exclusively to protecting and restoring the Bitterroot watershed, we are dedicated to ensuring clean and abundant water remains in the Valley.
By including the Water Partnership in your planned giving, you can ensure a legacy of clean, abundant water not just for current communities, but for generations to come.
A bequest is a gift made by naming Bitterroot Water Partnership as a beneficiary in your will or trust. You can add BWP to an existing will or living trust, or include the organization in a new will. Bequests are a great way to support the future work of BWP without impacting your day to day finances.
An IRA rollover allows individuals 70 ½ or older to make tax-free IRA charitable rollover gifts directly from your retirement account to Bitterroot Water Partnership. This allows you to send up to $100,000 per year to nonprofit organizations and avoid owing taxes on that rollover.

Gift of Stock or Mutual Fund
You can make a gift of stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares at anytime. Gifts of appreciated stock are not subjected to capital gains taxes.
