River Rooted is a celebration of our River and all it supports — rally around the Bitterroot River we all love and stay engaged with the community working to protect it.
Sip a Drink, enjoy Dinner by the River, Bid on a selection of Auction Items and Experiences, Cheer on your duck in the Duck Race for a chance to win a cash prize, and relax with Live Music by the Bear Creek Boys. You’ll leave feeling connected, inspired—and full after a locally-sourced meal with old and new friends.
We’ll wrap up our night with a conservation update from the Bitterroot Water Partnership, celebrating the impact we’re making together.

Bear Creek Boys are a couple of dad’s playing acoustic music in the Bitterroot Valley.
What’s the Duck Race?
You can adopt a duck—or a whole flock – for just $20 each. Get your duck online, at the Bitterroot Water Partnership office, or at the event. Proceeds go directly to River, stream, and habitat conservation.
Each adopted rubber duck is assigned a unique number and entered into the Duck Race. Throughout the evening, we’ll randomly draw ducks from the water trough, eliminating them one by one until we have a winner.
P.S. You do NOT have to be present to win. (But we hope you are!)
